TDP gained due to Revanth Reddy's exit: Narasimhulu
Hyderabad : TDP senior leader and politburo member Motkupalli Narasimhulu said that the Telugu Desam Party benefitted from the exit of Kodangal MLA A. Revanth Reddy.
In an interview to a private news channel, Narasimhulu said that the TDP's vote bank got reduced from 22% to 10% due to Revanth Reddy. However, Revanth's decision to quit TDP worked in favour of the party. He said that the 'Cash for Vote' issue had nothing to do with the TDP and it was a personal matter of Revanth Reddy.
Narasimhnulu said that the TDP had a strong position in Telangana and if party chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu spends some for the State unit, then it could be strengthened further.
He said that he had good personal relations with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao although he had political and ideological differences.
