Minor boy stabbed by classmate in Hyderabad

A Class X boy in Hyderabad was stabbed by his classmate after he reportedly asked the latter not to ‘tease’ his younger sister. 

The boy, Aravind studying at St Mathews High School was attacked by another student by a knife from behind while he was returning home.

Aravind had earlier confronted the boy in school for teasing his younger sister. Aravind is currently under treatment at a city hospital and is reportedly out of danger.

According to police, Aravind had a chat with the boy and asked him to stay away from his sister. However, the boy later went home, picked up a kitchen knife, came back, stabbed Aravind and fled the spot.

The juvenile has been detained and would be produced before Juvenile Justice Board.
