Foreign currency worth Rs 1.05 cr at Hyderabad airport

Foreign currency worth Rs. 1.05 crore was seized by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Hyderabad Zonal Unit from a passenger at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamsabad on Thursday.
The passenger, who was about to fly to Dubai was carrying Saudi and Omani Riyals with him.
During interrogation, he revealed that he had obtained the currency from a few unauthorized dealers. He was taken into police custody and further investigation is on.
