Depressed over Comprehensive criminals survey, degree student ends life in Nalgonda

A degree student committed suicide by jumping in front of a train in Nalgonda district on Friday.

According to the reports, the deceased, Vemula Prasad was depressed over police taking his Aadhar card to link with a comprehensive criminal survey in Pochampally.

The Telangana government recently launched a comprehensive survey of geo-tag criminals in Telangana to help police keep a track of criminals and to single-out those who repeatedly commit crimes.

Vemula Prasad is learned to have been named in an old vehicle theft case.

An audio visual has surfaced where the victim is seen speaking regarding this issue to his uncle before committing suicide.

The family members of the victim are blaming the government and police for Vemula Prasad’s death.
