Warangal Urban Collector Amrapali has received a shock from the district court.

For not paying the pending bills of the private building being used as the ICDS office, the district court on Saturday ordered the collector’s vehicle to be confiscated when the victim Krishna Reddy sought the court’s help to pay the pending bills.

Krishna Reddy, the owner of the house, approached the court saying that his building was used for the ICDS office and the rent was not paid for two years, but the collector did not respond even after the notices were issued to pay Rs 3 lakh.

Senior Civil Judge, who was investigating the matter, expressed dissatisfaction with the district collector's attitude. The collector ordered the vehicle to be confiscated. Only after paying the dues, orders were to return the vehicle. The court staff came to Collectorate to seize Collector Fortune's vehicle.
