Law & order in Agency satisfactory: DGP

Utnoor (Adilabad): It is possible to see better results if the police system understands the needs of the people in tune with the times, Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy said, speaking to the officials of three districts – Adilabad, Nirmal and Komaram Bheem-Asifabad. 

The DGP who was here on Sunday as part of his districts’ tour said that society would be strong only if it had a strong law and order system. “Be a true servant of the people,” he said, stressing the need for inculcating accountability among the police force. He told the police to maintain uniformity right through discharging their duties. 

The government is trying to strengthen the department by providing latest weapons and infrastructure on par with Hyderabad.
