Speaking to the Hans India , Rohit, a shopkeeper says that’ As Government and GHMC promised the Hyderabadis on roads issue that everything will be cleared in few days. It is more than one month since monsoon season have completed still the conditions are same in heavily populated areas like Madhapur, Kondapur, and many places in the city.

Road maintenace have been a challenge to GHMC  and while  passing this  route during the night time it's a pathetic situation. Many complaints have been given to the concerned department but till now no action has been taken ‘ he lamented.

“The doctors said that the injuries caused by potholes to people are mostly in neck and backbone as of last year. However, this year it will be much worse because of the numerous holes in our city roads. Last year there were many accidents because of potholes.

And even this year, the government has done nothing up to the mark to rectify the issue before monsoon. Though it has been said that they have taken up initiatives, one cannot see any changes in the road” added Naveen, a private sector employee.
