KTR meets Naidu, Ambani at WEF
Hyderabad: Telangana IT, Industries and Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday met several business leaders, including Reliance Company Chairman Mukesh Ambani on the first day of the World Economic Forum at Davos in Switzerland.
KTR, who is leading a delegation from Telangana to the Forum, attended the opening plenary which was also addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The session was hosted by the Forum Chairman Klaus Schwab.
The Telangana minister also met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and IT minister N Lokesh at the plenary. KTR interacted with several business leaders from across the globe at the session.
The minister is scheduled to speak at a few sessions during the next three days. KTR will participate in the discussion titled “Leveraging Digital to Deliver Value to Society” on January 25. On the same day, he will also participate in the Roundtable titled “Promoting Design in India” organised by DIPP.
The other participants include Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Industry and Commerce and DIPP Secretary Ramesh Abhishek. On January 26, KTR will speak at the session titled “Global Tech, Local Solutions: Artificial Intelligence”.
