Lecturer 'Rapes' 17-year-old girl in Hyd

 Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a 17-year-old student was allegedly raped by her lecturer in Hayathnagar.

According to reports, the physics lecturer allegedly raped the girl threatening her that he will fail her in the exams if she refused to accept his proposal.

The girl, who is studying intermediate in a government junior college, is a resident of Hayathnagar.

The accused is said to be from Warangal. 

The police said that the girl complained  that the lecture sexually harassed her for the past four months. The police, who registered a case following the girl's complaint,  found that the lecture was missing from the college and he is on the run. 

A search is on to nab the suspect.
