KCR too arrogant to look at citizens woes
Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao turned arrogant and is not willing to even look at people's woes.
He was speaking on the occasion of joining of TJAC senior leader Bhupati Reddy and hundreds of other activists from Siddipet and other areas at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday.
Uttam Kumar Reddy said K Chandrashekar Rao’s style of functioning was no different from a dictator who does not tolerate any criticism. He said atrocities on SC, ST and BC communities were on the rise and incidents that occurred in Nerella, Khammam could not be called as isolated. He said MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga was not allowed to hold hunger strike even at his residence.
The TPCC chief said while the Chief Minister was enjoying a lavish lifestyle in Rs 500 crore Pragathi Bhavan, his son and Minister K Taraka Rama Rao was spending most of the time in foreign countries by spending money from State's exchequer. Uttam Kumar Reddy said people would reject the arrogant Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government in next elections and Congress would return to power in 2019.
