KTR calls out on corrupt practices in India
Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday attended the National Town Planners Summit. Speaking on the occasion, he began his speech by apologising in advance in case his words upset or hurt anyone.
Expressing the opinion of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he said that Town Planning is one department which is not liked by the common man in India. KTR said officers taking bribes for the approval of planning of any construction is the harsh reality of the department through out the country.
In a bid to put an end to such corruption practice, the Minister shared that the Telangana government has launched a model A Development Permission Management System in 2016 and also only online applications are accepted in order to maintain the transparency.
