Update: 2018-02-03 01:40 IST

Hyderabad : Congress senior leader V. Hanumantha Rao on Friday advised Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha to concentrate on TRS future instead of thinking about the Congress party.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Hanumantha Rao said Kavitha should be worried about the future of her family after next election. He said Kavitha should think what would have been the status of KCR family if Congress party would not have given Telangana State. He said those talking about the future of Congress party should think about the fate of TRS which failed to fulfil the promises that it made with the people in last elections. He said that the results of by-elections in Rajasthan clearly indicate that people were looking for a change.

VHR said that the people of Telangana would also go for a change and replace TRS with Congress party in next elections. Commenting BJP president Amit Shah's statement, he said when some union ministers are praising Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao and his minister son K. Tarakarama Rao, how could BJP think of contesting alone and winning the elections.
