Telangana govt to hold mega eye camps across state

Hyderabad: Mega eye camps will be held in Telangana as eye-related ailments are on the rise among people in the villages. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided to organise eye camps all over the state on a large scale. This decision was taken at a meeting with some top officials in Pragathi Bhavan here on Saturday.  

All the patients will be provided spectacles and medicine free of cost. The Chief Minister asked all ministers, MLAs, MLCs, MPs and officials to take part in the camps and make the programme a success. They were also instructed to monitor arrangements. All eye specialists will be roped in for the camps. If necessary, government will seek the help of eye specialists from other states also.
