British Dy High Commissioner of Hyderabad calls on TSRTC MD

Hyderabad: British Deputy High Commissioner of Hyderabad Andrew Fleming called on TSRTC Managing Director G V Ramana Rao at Bus Bhavan to discuss the prospects of British Companies participation in TSRTC under the areas of Electric Buses, Smart Cards and also in ensuring reduced emissions from vehicles, etc.

The British Deputy High Commissioner was briefed by the TSRTC MD about the activities of the corporation and its endeavour to implement full LED, Solar Project throughout the State before September, 2018. The Commissioner was also briefed about end-to-end connectivity for inter-city services (Vajra AC buses from Hyderabad to Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Godavarikhani). The British Deputy High Commissioner of Hyderabad evinced keen interest in areas of partnering with TSRTC.

The Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Trade and Investment Abhilash Puzhakara and Pravallika Inala of Department for International Trade of British Deputy High Commission Hyderabad would co-ordinate with officers of TSRTC for implementation of new initiatives.
