70 lakh Pattadar pass books to be printed
Hyderabad: The Telangana government had sped up providing farmers with Pattadar pass books with details. An agreement had been signed between Security Printing Press of India and Telangana government for printing about 70 lakhs pass books simultaneously at four places across the country.
The State government had taken a decision to distribute the pass books to the farmers in all districts on March 11. They will be printed in Hyderabad, Nasik in Maharashtra, Devas in Madhya Pradesh and Noida in Uttar Pradesh States. As per the agreement more than 2.5 lakh pass books will be printed every day.
The survey conducted by the government had recommended for distributing about 70 lakh books among the farmers and the government is getting ready to do so. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao approved green color to the pass books to be in passport size with 20 pages and 18 security features. They will also have aadhaar number and finger print of the farmer and other details like bank account number, mobile number etc.
