Wellness centre to be set up in Anantagiri

Hyderabad: Proposals to set up an international wellness centre in Anantagiri after acquiring land would be submitted to the State government as per orders of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, said District Collector Syed Omar Jaleel .He made the announcement after receiving representations during the ‘Prjavani programme’ at the local Mandal Revenue office.

Speaking to the media, the Collector stated that an eco-tourism project through the MGNREGS would be established.  Vikarabad area would be developed as a horticultural hub. Steps to produce vegetables, fruits and flowers in 200 to 300 acres in every mandal would be taken.

 The produce would be exported to markets within and outside the district, he said. The Kotpalli project along with Sarvenpalli, Nagasamundar and Ebbanur tanks would be developed as tourist spots.
