Under-graduate from IIIT- Hyd selected for International conference

Hyderabad :  A fourth year B Tech ( Hons) student of International Institute of Information Technology – Hyderabad ,  Saumya Rawat, has been selected to present a paper on computer technology and graphics  at the 24th International Conference on Multimedia Modeling held in Bangkok this month.

She is the lone under graduate student to be presenting paper at the international conference. The 22 year old technology student  Saumya will present paper  on the subject- ‘Find me a sky: a data-driven method for color-consistent sky search & replacement’.  It proposes a data-driven method to automate the process of sky replacement and color correction, while maintaining the overall realism of the scene.

In her study she found the far-reaching potential of the field and its myriad applications in the practical world at the IIIT-H’s Centre for Visual Information Technology (CVIT) in the study.
