Kadiyam Srihari unveils BA Urdu History book
Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari said the promotion of Urdu language, minority education and welfare was top on the agenda of the State government. Kadiyam launched a second year Bachelor of Arts (BA) History book for the Urdu Medium on Friday.
He appreciated the efforts made by its author and lecturer of Nampally Government Degree College Dr Samir Meera, for taking up the cause to write the books in Urdu language. He reiterated the government's priority to promote Urdu as a language in the State.
Srihari said the first year BA books had been released during the last academic year and the second-year books during the current academic year. And, the government will extend all necessary support for bringing out such helpful books to the students.
