Hyderabad Metro Rail resumes prime property in Ameerpet to develop it as a parking area
Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) on Monday resumed the prime property of HMDA at the Ameerpet Metro station.
The 1, 200 square yards of property which was under occupation of Ever Cars for the last many years has been handed over to HMRL by HMDA for developing it as a parking area for the Metro station in Ameerpet.
The HMRL authorities revealed that the property worth Rs 15 crore was not vacated by Ever Cars for many years despite many methods used including court litigation.
Prior to this, HMRL successfully resumed 2800 square yards of another prime property worth about Rs. 28 cr between Nampally Metro station and railway station. The GHMC property was under occupation of a private taxi association for many decades and now has been transferred to HMRL. It will also be developed as a bus, vehicle bay and parking hub with all modern amenities by HMRL.
