Nizamabad, Bhadrachalam record highest temperature

Hyderabad: The Met Department bulletin said Bhadrachalam and Nizamabad recorded the highest day temperature with 37 degrees Celsius on Sunday. While Adilabad and Ramagundam 36 degrees Celsius each, 35 degrees Celsius was recorded in Mahbubnagar and Medak. The other maximum temperatures recorded in the State were: Hanamkonda and Khammam 33 each, Hakimpet and Nalgonda 32 each.

The night temperatures in the State registered an appreciable fall ranging from 2.10 to four degrees Celsius at a few places.  The lowest minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius was recorded in Medak.

The other night temperatures recorded in the State were: Hakimpet, Hyderabad and Ramagundam 17 each, Hanamkonda and Khammam 18 each, Adilabad, Bhadrachalam, Mahbubnagar and Nizamabad 19 each and Nalgonda 22. The Met Department said dry weather is likely to prevail in the State from February 26 to March 2. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
