Governor expresses grief over demise of Shankaracharya

Hyderabad: Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana E.S.L. Narasimhan expressed grief and sorrow at the attaining of Siddhi by 69th Acharya of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Jagadguru Pujyashri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal today at Sri Kanchi Kamakotii Peetam Sankara Matam, Kanchipuram. 

The Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the countless devotees of the Jagadguru Pujyashri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal and said that it is an irreparable loss to humanity at large. 

In a separate message, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has also expressed his heartfelt condolences on the demise of Kanchi Kama Koti Peetham seer Jayendra Saraswati. The Chief Minister praised the great services rendered by Jayendra Saraswati for the development of Kanchi Peetham.
