Protest by Tata Institute of Social Science students continues

Hyderabad: Protests by students of Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Hyderabad campus entered the seventh day on Tuesday. The students have been protesting against withdrawing SC, ST and OBC scholarships.

Boycotting the classes for the last one-week, students of the TISS Hyderabad campus joined the similar protests taking place at the TISS campuses located in Mumbai, Guwahati, Tuljapur. 

The protesting students said withdrawing scholarships from the TISS management would hit hard the poor dalit and minority students and distance them from accessing better education.
