Jana condemns KTR's remarks on Congress bus yatra
Hyderabad : Telangana Congress Legislature Party leader K. Jana Reddy has strongly condemned IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao's remarks wherein he stated that the Congress party's bus yatra reminds him of "Alibaba and 40 thieves."
Speaking to media persons at CLP office on Thursday, Jana Reddy said although he could reply to KTR's remarks in the same tone, he does not want to bring down his stature by using unparliamentarily language. He said even KTR's stature will not rise if he uses abusive language.
Jana Reddy said he was totally against defections since beginning. He said although he himself had switched from TDP to Congress in the past, but he did so only after resigning from his MLA's post. He warned KTR against using unparliamentarily language. No one remains in power permanently and KTR would face serious consequences after Congress party comes to power, he said.
Speaking about the Praja Chaitanya Yatra, Jana Reddy said that the yatra has been taken up to expose the failures of TRS Government.
Jana Reddy also claimed that the previous Congress Government has taken several measures to end flouride problem in Nalgonda district. He said safe drinking water was provided in 2400 habitations by spending Rs. 1,000 crore.
