KCR to contest for Lok Sabha

Hyderabad : Having decided to play a role in the national politics, TRS President and Telangana  Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had reportedly decided to contest Lok Sabha elections in 2019 general elections.

It is learnt that KCR is eager to contests for both Assembly and Lok Sabha seats like he contested and won in 2014 elections . He won MP from Medak and MLA from Gajwel assembly constituency.  However, the CM quit the MP post after get elected.

In a strategic move,  the TRS Chief is planning to fight from a Parliamentary constitutency in old Nalgonda , Mahabubnagar or Ranga Reddy districts.  KCR is more  interested to fight from the Congress strong hold Parliament Constituency . Sources said that KCR shortlisted Nalgonda  MP seat as his first choice.  The TRS leader wanted to win from Nalgonda which is considered fortress of the  Congress  and the native district of  TPCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy and CLP leader K Jana Reddy.
