Update: 2018-03-05 18:06 IST

Data from the Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) for 2016 and 2017 have shown stability in the levels of noise pollution in the city.

Even though the levels are still considerably above the standards prescribed by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the near stagnancy being recorded in the noise pollution levels in all categories of areas monitored is the reason to rejoice.
