Counselling programme held for jail inmates
Hyderabad: As part of the Unnathi counselling programme, 50 inmates of the 10&11th batches of the central prison were given advice here on Monday. Doubts on false implication of cases and PD Act imposition were cleared.
B Anand, ACP, Meer Chowk police station clarified doubts of participants in this programme and also shared his mobile number to all the participants and advised to contact in case of false implication.
He instructed inmates to be in touch with police before the police calls to avoid false implication of cases. He advised to inculcate good habits and avoid alcohol.
K Arjuna Rao, Superintendent of Prisons praised the efforts of Prof.C.Beena, Unnathi programme organiser in arranging the programme. P Saibaba, Deputy Superintendent of Prisons and V.Srinivas Rao, jailor also took part in the programme.
