Man forces daughter's friend into prostitution; held

 A 16-year-old girl filed a complaint against a 40-year-old pimp who allegedly forced her into prostitution.

The accused, Govind was arrested by Banjara Hills police on Monday based on the complaint and a case has been registered a case under Sections 376 (rape), 370 ( Trafficking) of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act.

According to the police, the culprit lured the victim, on some pretext and forced her into prostitution.

The minor girl who studied till class 9 and dropped out of school is a friend of Govind's daughter.

Even though she dropped out, the victim regularly visited Govind's house to see her friend.

However, during her visits, Govind lured her and sent unknown men, who abused her. The victim stated that unknown customers were sent to her, who raped her at his residence and she was even taken to Tirupati once.
