49 students booked for malpractices in inter exam
Hyderabad : As many as 49 second year intermediate students have been booked for malpractice during the exam held on Wednesday.
According to Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, of 457,292 registered candidates, a total of 437,572 appeared for Maths-IIA, Botany, Civics, Psychology - Paper II exam. However, as many as 19,730 candidates or 4.31% abstained from it.
Of 49 booked for malpratices, 13 are from Nizamabad, seven from Yadadri, three each from Nirmal, Jagtial, Siddipet, Suryapet and Jogulamba Gadwal, two each from Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy and Medak and one each from Karimnagar, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Kamareddy, Wanaparthy, Nagar Kurnool, Vikarabad and Hyderabad.
Observers from Board were sent to Suryapet, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Nirmal, Nizambad, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad Districts. Except 49 malpractice cases, examinations have been conducted smoothly and peacefully without any untoward incidents.
