46 students booked for malpractices in inter exam
Hyderabad : As many as 46 second year intermediate students have been booked for malpractice during the exam held on Friday.
According to Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, of 335,508 registered candidates, a total of 324,271 appeared for Maths-IIA, Botany, Civics, Psychology - Paper II exam. However, as many as 11,237 candidates or 3.34% abstained from it.
Of 46 booked for malpractices, 12 cases are from Nalgonda, 10 from Suryapet, 9 from Mahabubnagar, 4 from Nizamabad, two each from Jayashanker (Bhoopalpalli), Khammam and Medak and one each from Karimnagar, Jagtial, Warangal (Urban), Kamareddy and Siddipet.
Observers from Board were sent to Mahabubnagar, Yadadri, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Medak and Suryapet Districts. Except for above 46 malpractice cases, examinations have been conducted smoothly and peacefully without any untoward incidents.
