One killed, 13 injured hurt in head-on collision

In a head-on collision that took place at Zahirabad by-pass road, a tipper driver was killed and 13 passengers travelling in the bus suffered injuries. 

According to the police, the bus was heading to Hyderabad from Pune when the mishap took place at Alugolu Circle in Sangareddy district. 

Both the vehicles collided head-on resulting in the mishap. The injured were admitted to Government Hospital in Zahirabad for treatment.

Three of them have sustained serious injuries and were later shifted to Hyderabad for better treatment. 

A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
