Over 25K inter first year students skip exams
Hyderabad: As many as 25,015 or 4.77% of total 523,837 registered candidates of intermediate first year skipped the examination held on Saturday.
According to Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, a total of 498,822 candidates appeared for Physics, Economics & Classical Language - Paper I exam held across Telangana State today.
A total of 85 cases of malpractice were booked during the exams. Highest number of 29 cases were booked in Nalgonda, followed by 11 cases in Sangareddy, 8 cases each in Mahabubnagar and Medak, 4 cases each in Suryapet and Medak, three cases each in Warangal (Rural), Peddapalli, Jagtiyal, Siddipet, Nagarkurnool and one case in Hyderabad.
Observers from Board were sent to Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Suryapet, Medak, Sangareddy, Siddipet and Jangaon Districts.
