KCR's Close Relative Gets Rajya Sabha MP Post

Telangana Chief Minister and TRS Supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao’s close relative Joginipalli Santhosh Kumar has been chosen one among the three Rajya Sabha nominees from the party. 

At the TRSLP meeting,  Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao proposed the names of Santosh, senior leader Badugula Lingaiah Yadav from Nalgonda district and Banda Prakash Mudiraj from Warangal  as the party nominees in the biennial elections to three Rajya Sabha MP seats in Telangana. They will file nominations on Monday in the Assembly.

Santhosh has been with KCR ever since the TRS President launched Telangana movement in 2001. After KCR became Chief Minister,  Santhosh emerged as another power centre in the government.
