TRS, Congress candidates file nomination for RS polls

Hyderabad : Three candidates of Telangana Rashtra Samithi and one candidate of Congress party filed their nomination papers for Rajya Sabha elections on Monday.
 
TRS candidates J. Santosh Kumar, Lingaiah Yadav and B. Prakash Mudiraj paid their tributes to the martyrs of Telangana at Gun Park. Later, they came in a rally to the Assembly and filed nomination papers before the Returning Officer. Several TRS ministers, legislators and leaders were present on the occasion.
 
Meanwhile, Congress senior leader and former union minister P. Balram Naik also filed his nomination paper today.
 
Elections for three seats of Rajya Sabha are scheduled to be held on March 23.
