Rs 280 Crore For Police Twin Towers

Twin Towers, the state-of-the-art Integrated Command and Control Centre has been allocated another Rs 280 crore in the state budget. This is part of the Rs 1389.66 crore allocated to the police department in the state budget. Of the total allocation, Rs 509 crore have been allocated to Hyderabad city police. 

Rs 140 crore have been allocated to set up the ‘one million eyes’ scheme to install CCTV cameras everywhere.

In addition, the city police commissionerate, being built in a seven acre swathe , is nearing completion. The total outlay for the building is pegged at Rs 1002 crore. The amount is payable in three installments ending in 2018-9. 

The police department has also allocated Rs 10 crore for constructing police stations buildings. Another Rs 10 crore have been released to improve the amenities in the office.
