Suicide pact? Family of four found dead in Secunderabad

Four members of a family were found dead at their residence in Secunderabad on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Swaroop G Das, a goldsmith, his wife and their two children including a five-month-old baby boy.

Police suspect that the family hailing from Howrah, West Bengal have committed suicide due to financial issues.

As per the details, the family were found dead last night and are suspected to have consumed cyanide.

The incident came to light only after a local businessman lodged a complaint with the police that Swaroop was not responding to his calls. Following the complaint, the police broke open the door of Swaroop’s house only to find him along with his family members lying dead.

A case has been registered and the matter is under investigation.
