Marikal SGT booked for dereliction of duties in SSC Exam
Mahbubnagar: The Marikal police after thorough inquiry along with the District Education officials with regard to SSC question paper leak have found that invigilator K Venkataiah, a Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) of Pallegadda Mandal Parishad Primary School, Marikal, who was posted as invigilator in the room 4A of ZPHS Marikal Girls, to have not conducted his duties properly and supported others to enter the examination hall and was responsible for question paper leak. He has been booked under Prevention of Malpractice and Unfair Means at Public Examination Act.No.25 of 1997.
Upon a thorough inquiry by Makthal Circle Inspector Venkateshwarlu, it has been revealed that the question paper of a boy named Boya Harish with hall ticket number 1825115423 was taken by an outsider named Naveen, an intermediate student of Manikanta Junior College in Marikal, who sneaked into the examination by jumping into the compound wall and took the question paper from Harish between 10.30 am to 11.00 am and took photographs of the same and forwarded the same to Praveen and Mohan PET teachers of a private school and Rajender the Correspondent of Goutham Model School at Lalkota of CC Kunta mandal. Later, the answers for the same were prepared by Amresh an English Teacher of Pratibha High School in Marikal, the answer were later photocopied in the same school and distributed to examination centres.
All the culprits were thoroughly investigated by the police and cases have been registered against all involved in the offence. Acknowledging serious lapse on the part of all examination staff at ZPHS (Girls), Marikal, the district education officials have relieved them all from the duties with immediate effect.
Superintend of Police Dr B Anuradha has warned that anyone found responsible for leakof question paper or found to be involved in any kind of malpractice in the public examinations would be dealt strictly and legal and criminal actions would be initiated against such persons. “All five culprits Naveen, Praveen, Mohan, Balakrishna and B Harisha have been taken into custody and four cell phones have been seized from the accused and cases have been booked against them,” informed the SP.
