Traffic diversion for 90 days in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The City Police imposed traffic curbs in order to make arrangements for the early commencement of commercial operations of Hyderabad Metro Rail in Corridor-1 (LB Nagar to Ameerpet) and for the speedy completion of metro portal construction activities from Putlibowli Junction to Rangamahal Junction.

The police said the restrictions will be imposed for a period of 90 days from March 21 to June 18. The commuters who intend to go towards Rangahamal Junction, Koti via Putlibowli are advised to use alternative routes to avoid congestion.

All RTC buses (District) and All heavy vehicles coming from Abids and intend to go towards MGBS (via) Putlibowli Junction will be diverted at GPO, Abids towards MJ Market. 

The Route No 115 RTC bus stop is shifted to 94 Lane from Osmania Medical College and Route No 115 buses will be diverted at 94 Lane towards Bank Street – Right Turn - Andhra Bank, Koti – DM and HS – Chaderghat.

The Route No’s 1, 2, 3 buses and all other vehicular traffic coming towards Rangamahal Junction via Putlibowli is diverted at Putlibowli Junction towards Gowliguda Chaman – Gurudwara – Shanker Sher Hotel – Afzalgunj ‘T’ Junction – Left turn – Afzalgunj bus stand.

The RTC buses route No’s 94 and 95 and other heavy vehicles will be diverted at Putlibowli Junction towards – Jambagh – MJ Market – SA Bazar – Afzalgunj bus stand.

The vehicular traffic (except 2- wheeler) will not be allowed from Afzalgunj ‘T’ Junction towards Putlibowli via Shankersher Hotel.
