GHMC raises Rs. 1,000 Cr bonds: KTR

Hyderabad : Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K. Tarakarama Rao informed the Legislative Assembly on Thursday that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has raised Rs. 1000 crores through Municipal Bonds out of which in the first transaction an amount of Rs. 200 crores has raised through bonds and this amount will be used for the Strategic Road Development programme. 
 
Replying to a question raised by TRS members T. Prakash Goud, M.Gopinath and K.P. Vevekanand during Question Hour, the Minister said that the Road Developmenty Programme project was taken up as high priority project which comprises Skyways, Motor Corridors, Major roads, Flyovers to provide relief to the traffic problem and added that the free road network is planned with the objectives to minimize the travel time, increasen the average journey speeds from 15 kmph to 35 kmph and to reduce the air pollution level b y minimizing the fuel consumption and decrease the stopped delay.
 
Replying to another question of B.Ganesh, Ajay Kumar Puvvada and G. Kishore Kumar, the minister said that T-Hub has completed two years of its operations on November 5, 2017. During this period 346 Startup Incubatees has come, 835 Associated  Startups, 190 Alumni Startups, 117 Mentors, 32 Community Partnerships, 37 Registered Trademarks, 23 Business Support Services, 33.6 Million dollars of 57 Startups funding raised, he said.
