Abhaya Hastham scheme to be extended

Hyderabad: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said that the Telangana Government was planning to extend Abhaya Hastham scheme in the State. 

Replying to a question raised by MLCs Paturi Sudhakar Reddy, Kasireddy Narayan Reddy and Mohammed Fareeduddin during Question Hour in Legislative Council on Friday, the minister said that the government was examining various options to improve the scheme. He said it is also proposed to include husband and wife of the family in the scheme.
