Dhoopa Deepa Naivedyam scheme to cover 3,000 more temples

Hyderabad: Endowments Minister A. Indrakaram Reddy said that the State Government has decided to extend Dhupa Deepa Naivedyam Scheme to 3,000 more temples across Telangana State. 

In his answer to a question raised by MLAs Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, Vodithela Satish Kumar and Putta Madhukar in Legislative Assembly during Question Hour on Friday, the minister said that the scheme was presently being implemented in 1805 temples and it will be extended to 3,000 more temples. He said that the government was in receipt of 5,289 applications and the scheme would be implemented soon after completion of selection process.
