No plans to increase Amma Vodi 102 vehicles: Laxma Reddy
Hyderabad: Health Minister Dr. Laxma Reddy said that the State Government has no plans to increase the number of Amma Vodi 102 Ambulance Service vehicles.
In his reply to a question raised by TRS MLAs Konda Surekha, Ajmeera Rekha and Bodiga Shobha in Legislative Assembly during Question Hour on Friday, the minister said that the government has introduced '102 referral transport service' to transport Pregnant women for Antenatal checkups, deliveries, drop back and immunization.
He said presently 241 vehicles are providing the services across the Telangana State. So far, 47,121 women have availed these services. However, he said there was no proposal to increase the number of these Ambulance service vehicles.
