Bhongir: Alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power with the magic of words and false promises, CPM state secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram said that they had disclosed the true colors of Modi to the people of the country well in advance, ie., before elections.

On Saturday, he launched party state-wide Bus Yatra in Bhongir to give wide publicity to the party national convention to be held in Hyderabad in April.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that communal hatred has been spreading in the country during Modi regime. Activists of hard core wings of Saffron party has been committing murders in the name of cow protection and brutally attacking the persons, who questions them on behalf of the victims, he alleged.

“BJP is trying to change the systems of the constitution with saffron ideology and changing the history too”. CPM is the only party, which can fight with BJP and it is the duty of everyone to save secularism in the country, Veerabhadram added.

All the people in the country have realised that Modi’s promises over black money and employment are false. The CPM leader pointed out that the State government was snatching lands from farmers in the name of irrigation projects, by violating 2013 Land Acquisition Act and Forest Lands Rights Act. Except Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family, none of the people across the State are happy, he stated.

Even though the party has weakened in the State, CPM will never change its fighting spirit, Thammineni underlined. Stating that they are fighting for social justice, he informed that the party has been working with an agenda to ensure power to neglected sections in the State. Party national leader Cheruplly Seetharamulu and district leaders participated in the meeting.
