Vizag-bound flight returns due to technical snag

​Hyderabad: A SpiceJet flight that took off from Shamshabad airport on Monday returned within a half-an-hour after the aircraft developed a technical snag. The SpiceJet aircraft, SG-1057, scheduled to fly from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam was delayed by three hours even before it took off. There were around 74 passengers on board, sources said. The SpiceJet management made an alternative arrangement for the passengers.

Air passenger’s baggage stolen In another incident at RGIA airport, a luggage bag of a passenger was stolen by unidentified miscreants on Monday. Umakanth, a resident of Hayathnagar, had returned to the city from Chennai and was waiting to collect his luggage at conveyor belt, but in vain.

In a complaint filed by the victim, he stated that his bag comprising valuable documents and gold ornaments was stolen at the airport.
