Telangana Assembly session extended by two days

Hyderabad: Telangana Assembly was extended for two more days to take up two bills, including the Private Universities and Panchayat Raj Amendment bills. The Speaker, S Madhusudhana Chary, on Tuesday informed that all the floor leaders were informed about the decision to extend the House and their consent was taken for running the House for two more days, on March 28 and 29.  

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari introduced the Private Universities Establishment and Regulatory Bill. The Bill is slated to come for discussion on Wednesday.  The government is likely to bring another bill to amend the Panchayat Raj Act during the two days.
