Telangana Council adjourned sine die

Hyderabad:  The Telangana State Legislative Council was adjourned sine die here on Thursday.
 
During the 13 working days of budget session, the Council functioned for 48 hours and 40 minutes. Besides presentation of budget for 2018-19, Appropriation Bill and CAG Reports, 11 Bills were also passed by the Council.
 
As many 92 Starred Questions were answered and 50 Starred Questions were placed on the table of the House. A total of two statements were made by the ministers while 100 speeches were made by the members. As many as five Short Discussions were also answered.
 
The party-position in Council stood at TRS - 23 members, Congress - 07, AIMIM - 01, BJP - 01; Progressive Recognised Teachers Union - 02 and Nominated - 06.
