Onlookers click photos as cop bleeds to death on road after being run over by truck

In a gruesome incident, a Telangana police officer bled to death on the road in Khammam district after being run over a truck. The incident took a drastic turn when the bystanders kept clicking pictures and videos on their phones instead of rushing him to the hospital.

According to the reports, the cop, Assistant Sub-Inspector D Bhaskar was crossing the road near the Raghunathpalem Police Station where he was on duty but was hit by a truck. 

Sources reveal that the policeman was alive and moving for at least 10 minutes but the people surrounding him were taking photos and videos. Until other policemen intervened, the policeman laid lying in the pool of blood on the road. 

He was rushed to Khammam District Hospital in a police jeep but succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. 

The police officers informed that Bhaskar passed away due to excessive bleeding and damage to vital organs adding that they weren’t able to identify the people who clicked the photos but it was highly irresponsible of them.

A case has been registered and the lorry driver has reportedly been arrested.
