Collector inspects facilities of government hospital

Miryalguda: District Collector Gaurav Uppal on Wednesday directed the doctors to ensure that there are more number of institutional deliveries in government hospital.

The Collector inspected Government Area Hospital in Miryalaguda and interacted with the patients. He visited various wards in the hospital and inquired about the services being rendered to the patients.

He advised the doctors and staff of the hospital to attend to their duties regularly and discharge their responsibilities.
He expressed concern over fewer patients in the wards and advised the doctors to build confidence among the people that the government hospitals would provide a better care to patients.

The Collector ordered the Hospital Superintendent to start medical services in the newly constructed labour room within three days. He instructed the doctors to maintain case sheet of each patient with all details.

He interacted with patients and nursing mothers and inquired about  the services and facilities available in the hospital and about KCR kits scheme. Dr M S Naik, Deputy DMHO, Dr Krishna Kumari, Tahsildar Krishnareddy and others were present.
