Hyderabad: Two dengue deaths recorded in a span of one week, 51 dengue cases recorded
In a span of one week, two dengue deaths were recorded in Mahboob Colony, Hyderabad. The city recorded maximum dengue cases between January 1 and February 14 this year compared to the other districts in Telangana.
According to the statistics collected by the state health department as part of the National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), 154 suspected dengue cases and 51 confirmed dengue cases were recorded in Hyderabad.
Khammam followed next with 21 confirmed dengue cases recorded in the same period with Mahboobnagar recording 14 cases.
The data also shows 71 and 32 suspected cases of dengue Khammam and Mahboobnagar in the same period.
A total of 400 suspected cases of dengue and 134 confirmed cases were detected in the same period across all the districts in Telangana.
