Cong stages Matha Samarasya Deeksha

Kothagudem: Following the party high command orders, district Congress leaders and activists staged one-day protest ‘Matha Samarasya Deeksha’ here on Monday.

Spekaing on the occasion, party state leader Adavalli Krishna criticised the BJP for attacking Dalits and condemned the attacks on Dalits in various incidents in the country. People are vexed with the parties ruling at State and Centre and turning towards Congress as their choice in the next elections, which is evident at the public response to the Congress bus yatra programme, he stated.

He confidently said that Congress will take power both at Centre and State in the coming elections. CPM and CPI leaders supported the Congress protest.  CPM district secretary A Kanakaiaha, CPI district secretary Shabeer Pasha and district Congress leaders participated in the programme.
