Met dept forecasts thunderstorms
Hyderabad: In a warning to the State, the Met department bulletin said thunderstorms with gusty winds are likely to occur at isolated places in all districts of the State on April 11.
The forecast said light to moderate rain or thunderstorms are likely to occur at isolated places in all the districts from April 11 to 14. No large change in the weather outlookduring the period April 15 to 17. According to the bulletin, rain occurred at isolated places in the State during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday, with Gandeed recording three cm rainfall. There was two cm rain in Kondurg of Mahbubnagar district.
The highest maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad. The other day temperatures in the State were: Bhadrachalamand Nizamabad 38 each, Mahbubnagar 37, Khammam, Medak and Ramagundam 36 each, Hyderabad, Hakimpetand Hanamkonda 35 each, Nalgonda 33.
The bulletin said the temperatures recorded an appreciable rise ranging from 2.1 to four degrees Celsius at many parts of the State, while there was a marked rise by 4.1 degrees Celsius or more in some parts.
